Conversion Calculators
Temperature Converter
Convert temperatures between Celsius, Fahrenheit, and Kelvin with exact formulas.
Quick guide
Enter a temperature and choose the scales to convert between Celsius, Fahrenheit, and Kelvin. The scales have different zero points, so the converter uses exact formulas rather than a single multiplier.
Read the full explanationHow It Works
Temperature scales are offset, not just scaled, so conversion uses formulas rather than a single factor. Kelvin starts at absolute zero and shares the Celsius degree size.
Formula Used
°F = °C × 9/5 + 32; K = °C + 273.15.
Example Calculation
100 °C = 212 °F = 373.15 K; 72 °F ≈ 22.2 °C.
Practical Use Cases
- Convert oven and weather temperatures.
- Work with scientific temperatures in Kelvin.
- Understand forecasts while traveling.
